Momentum is still accepting registration for new and returning students for for the 2011-2012 academic year, but classes are filling quickly! Check out our
2011-2012 Class Schedule!
Tuition Discounts:
Multi-Class Discount:
Discount may be used for group music lessons and/or dance classes. It applies to individual students, or multiple
students within a single household. Discount does not apply to private lessons, including duo and trio lessons.
5% off if a student takes 3-4 classes per week
10% off if a student takes 5-6 classes per week
15% off if a student takes 7 or more classes per week
Advance Payment: Half Year- pay tuition in two "half year" installments and receive 5% off each tuition installment plus
1/2 off the registration fee. September to January installment (first 5 months) is due by October 1, 2011. February to June installment
(second 5 months) is due by February 10, 2012. If you choose to cancel the second installment, your tuition will revert back to
monthly payments; which are due on the first of each month. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with the Multi‐class discount.
Full Year- Pay your entire annual tuition in full by October 10, 2011 and receive 5% off your entire
tuition amount, plus 10% off all performance fees, plus 1/2 off the registration fee. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with the
Multi-class discount.
Auto-Pay Discount:
Set up your account for direct withdrawal payments (credit card or checking/savings account) and receive 1/2 off the registration fee per child.
Home School:
If you are home schooling your children, you are eligible for a $5 discount off each group music or dance class taken
during the day. Discount may not be used in conjunction with the Multi‐class discount (tuition will be discounted according to
whichever is greater) or used during the summer or toward private lessons, including duo and trio lessons.
Refer-a-Friend:
Refer a friend to Momentum Music and Dance Academy and receive $10 off one month's tuition.
Scholarships:
Scholarships are available. An application must be filled out and reviewed by the studio owner. Tuition discount
is based on individual need.
Trial Lessons:
Trial lessons are available. Trial lessons for group dance classes are free; however, trial lessons for private
lessons, including duos and trios, are charged the single lesson rate. Maximum number of free trial dance lessons is one.
Accepting Orders for Momentum Apparel
Momentum is offering active sportswear with our logo.
Please turn in an order form to the front desk. Charcoal gray t-shirts, black sweatshirts and sweatpants will be available for purchase.
DVDs and Pictures
Please pick up your ordered copies of the 2011 Season Finale DVDs or your picture orders from our office during open hours.
Unattended Child Policy
To ensure the safety of our students, we recommend that children arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of their lesson. Students should wait quietly for their lesson to begin and remain in the MMDA lobby. Following their lesson, students should also wait in the lobby. They should be picked up promptly. If something occurs to delay picking you your student, please inform the office immediately.
Children under the age of 6 should be supervised at all times. They may not play in the hallways and should be accompanied by an adult to the restroom. Students 6 years and under should be met at the appropriate studio by their parent/guardian.
Under no circumstance should students or siblings be left unattended at our academy. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Tuition Payment Policy
Please remember that tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month. Momentum offers several payment options, including automatic payments using a credit card or checking account. As of January 2009, the following policies apply in regards to payments:
Accounts not paid in full by the 10th of the month will incur a $10 late fee.
Accounts more than 60 days delinquent may result in suspension of lessons.
Studnets with unpaid balances at the end of the school year may not be allowed to perform in the performances.

School Closure Information
Momentum Music & Dance Academy follows its own academic schedule, so please be aware that this schedule may not be the same as your local school district's schedule for holidays and days off.
For emergency closures (due to weather, natural disaster, etc), we will update either our phone system message, our website, or post an update on our Facebook page.

Momentum Music & Dance Academy has a dance class dress code. If you haven't picked up a dress code flyer from the studio, it is available online. Leotards and tights are available for purchase at the reception area for your convenience.
